I. Technology

DATA × Yomob: Product Prototype Launch

By the end of April, the prototype of DATA integration with Yomob Advertising SDK is successfully completed and tested. We are now thrilled to present our DATA Reward Program to the community! The prototype product is currently launched on one of Yomob’s developer, Zap Zombies. More selected partners will be introduced in the near future, and gradually roll out to 2000+ developers and more than 120 million MAUs on Yomob platform. There will be a detailed guidance to elaborate how to gain DATA reward soon.

II. Important Announcement

1.DATA Locked 30% of Total DTA Tokens on April 25th

In order to better protect our investors’ and supporters’ interests and strengthen our community confidence on our project, we are very pleased to announce that from April 25th, 30% DTA held by Blockchain Data Foundation, that is 3.45 billion, have been locked up until the launch of mainnet. Data Blockchain Foundation will never move or trade tokens in this address and they will not go into the current circulating supply.

2. Asset Safety Announcement

DATA promises everyone, there is no bug with DTA, please do not worry about possessing it.

Recently, Meitu and BEC exposed the news regarding the contract loophole. Three days later, SMT also encountered similar attacks to BEC.

According to the analysis of the block chain safety firm PeckShield, in SMT’s artificial intelligence contract, there exists a classical integer overflow problem in the proxy transfer function. This means that the attacker does not need any Token to be able to transfer a large quantity of Tokens to a certain address.

After the exposure of these two security incidents, many token holders became anxious. DATA has always been very concerned about investors’ asset safety, we have a strong technology team and professional auditing companies to guarantee DATA’s security.

Through our review, the following contract:

Abides by Ethereum’s ERC token standard and is a legitimate Ethereum token. There is no logical bug or admin backdoor influences.
Satisfies the basic needs of tokens, including functions such as inquiries, transfers, accreditation, and destroying the token.
The total number of tokens issued is 11.5 billion and, in the contract, there does not exist a chance for more tokens to be issued and users may destroy their own tokens.
All the functions are verified with address and account balance, which can effectively prevent invalid parameters.
There is no administrators or VIP users, hence there does not exist the issue of admins destroying the tokens of users, recycling the token and then freezing the flow of tokens.
The contract itself does not have the function to self-destruct, therefore there is no issue of the contract being deleted.
Through our tests, this contract’s EVM coding’s coverage is 85.2%, currently we have not found any safety bugs as such re-entrant, time-dependence, double spending and call back problems.

III. Strategic Partnership

1. DATA × BlueFocus

Blockchain DATA Foundation forms strategic partnership with BlueFocus, both sides will build blockchain marketing research lab of Kunluntang Research Institute.

On one hand, BlueFocus will apply Data Authentication Protocol and other technology provided by DATA, build blockchain infrastructure for detecting device-level data quality and preventing data fraud.

On the other hand, DATA will lead blockchain technology development on marketing areas for Kunluntang under the real needs of BlueFocus and its subsidiary, including marketing affiliate chain development, AI marketing, payment system and data privacy.

2. DATA × Kochava

Blockchain DATA Foundation forms partnership with XCHNG of Kochava and joins partner program digital advertising blockchain platform XCHNG. DATA will provide Kochava with critical technology such as data authentication and reputation services.DATA and XCHNG will develop a strong partnership and ongoing collaboration as both sides create a new paradigm for digital advertising.

By being part of the OnXCHNG partner program, participants on the XCHNG platform will have access to DATA’s state-of-the-art anti-fraud mechanism via data authentication and be able to improve efficiency of ads spending, thus creating a healthier ecosystem that is much needed in the entire mobile data and advertising network. The strong relationship between XCHNG and DATA demonstrates the power of blockchain technology and its applicability to digital advertising. It will pave ways to a near future where fraud-free and maximum efficiency can truly be accomplished and every participant including the advertisers, publishers, platforms and end users not only benefits but also is rewarded meaningfully. XCHNG would also be participating in DATA’s Trust Alliance and contributing in the anti-fraud ecosystem.

IV. Community Building

1. Results

DATA has nearly 130K fans all over the world. DTA token holders are more than 160K with over 230K total transactions. Last week, DATA’s Korean version whitepaper and official website have been translated by local blockchain marketing & consulting KryptoSeoul. This week, Korean members of DATA will go through details of the translation and we will update our official website with Korean language user interface and add Korean version whitepaper soon.

2. DATA × Mars Data (Blockchain Social Media in China)

On Apr 23, DATA community and Mars Data, a blockchain social media in China, launched an airdrop for top 500 participants who shared the weekly report about DATA(DTA) of Mars Data within 3 days on WeChat. All successful participants will receive 100 DTA as reward. In one week, DATA community will send 100 DTA to the successful participants.

V. International Expansion

1. Singapore: WDAS

The first World Digital Asset Summit (WDAS) will launch on May 1st in Singapore. This summit invites the most qualified blockchain projects, developers and investors globally. It aims at discussing ’Tokenomics’ and its impact on traditional economy. WDAS is hosted by FBG. DATA is invited to WDAS and our Co-Founder & CEO Franklin Song will deliver a speech on ‘Blockchain, New Backbone of Digital Ecosystem’, and communicate with top talents in blockchain industry.

2. Beijing：GMIC

On Apr 27, our Co-Founder & CEO Franklin Song was invited to GMIC, and he spoke about ‘Blockchain. the new backbone of digital ecosystem’ on the conference. He disclosed that DATA is exploring new opportunities on partnering with FinTech institutes and we will make announcement in the near future. GMIC invited top scientists and entrepreneur of various industries including AI, blockchain, new retail and travel.

3. Beijing: ‘In Door’ Seminar

On Apr 18, our Co-Founder Victor was invited by ‘In Door’ Seminar. The theme for this seminar is: blockchain innovation. During the seminar, Victor discussed with other guests about the technology infrastructure of DATA in terms of the innovation and future of blockchain industry.
