Welcome to the 32nd DATA Bi-weekly Report, where we post the latest developments and updates in the DATA project.

Technological Development

M3 Mobile Distributed Storage System

  1. M3 Network Module

a. Refactoring the RTC communication library based on the Webrtc Native API. Encapsulation is completed through JNI calls to ensure that M3 runs normally on Android and PC (Windows, OS, Ubuntu) while maximizing code consistency and facilitating multi-node stability testing;

b. Cooperated with the Antube team to conduct the first round (April 22-April 28) and the second round (April 30-May 6) of Antube M3 alpha tests for the North American and Asian users. Both rounds of testing achieved expected results in terms of stability and P2P download speed. The test team quickly iterated the product based on test data analysis and user feedback and is currently preparing for the third user test in mid-May;

c. Log analysis: The project team completed the development of the background log analysis program, and has gained the data evaluation capability for a large-scale online system of mobile P2P network functions and performances;

d. Completed client application development for multi-threaded communication. In the next phase, the team will complete automated testing and P2P low-level program optimization for large-scale multi-threaded communication.

2. Android

a. Antube M3 customized version 2 released, added “Newbie Guidance” function, fixed known bugs;

b. Optimized the video upload mechanism;

c. Fixed the stability problem reported from the user feedback during the previous test, laying a good foundation for the subsequent user’s large-scale use;

d. Performed multi-node connection communication test, increased test cases and prepared for subsequent tests.

Antube Operation Activities and Community Building

In the social media airdrop event held in early April, nearly 3,000 users followed Antube’s social media accounts, such as Twitter and Medium, actively participated in the friends' invitation activity, and made a huge contribution to Antube’s expansion of user usage and ecological construction.

In order to thank the community users for their active participation and contributions, Antube prepared generous rewards for the event participants. From April 22 to April 26, the rewards distribution has been completed.

The Antube app is loved by users around the world, and the number of users continues to grow rapidly. By the time of this bi-weekly report, Antube’s users have covered more than 200 major countries and regions around the world. In addition, Antube’s official Facebook homepage generated nearly 20,000 interactions and 340,000 views The Antube team continues to optimize the mobile application based on feedback from its community users, and a new version of Antube was released on May 1.
